They went public , but why??
Scottish winners after scooping a record-breaking £161,653,000 EuroMillions prize, it’s fair to say that 64-year-old Colin Weir and his wife Christine, 55, will now be able to afford to wine and dine alongside the super-wealthy.

But where does this put them in the ranks of the richest people in the country?

Looking at the Sunday Times Rich List, published in May this year, the Weirs can expect to have jumped up to the 430th richest people in the UK. Remarkably, that’s just 10 places (and perhaps a few smart investments) below David and Victoria Beckham, whose combined worth is estimated at £165 million.

Britain’s newest millionaires will, however, have overtaken some famous names overnight – and can now boast that they’re richer than one of the Beatles. Alright, it may be Ringo, but that’s not something to be sniffed at when you consider his total wealth is around £150 million. Largs local football club is also looking for a cash injection, get ur self in as Chairman Colin, get them to the Premier league & get ridd of the old firm strangle hold on the SPL.

Good LUCK to the both of them and their family , we @ the toonpages.co.uk team wish them all the best and a happy & healthy life. Enjoy but remember Colin 'with great wealth & power comes a great responsibility'.
